As many of you know, andrew added the /nick command and it is currently in the test phase. We asked around and gave our own opinions about its failure or success rate and the reason behind it. Leave a comment with your opinion!
"I Think That /Nick could end up being a problem because of trollers with /v
but maybe the donations will help get another server upgrade like more map!
/Nick could pose a problem with deals and other stuff because people might change their Nick in the middle of the conversation.
Who knows I think there's a small chance it might get removed or the regulations made stricter

"I believe that the NickName command will be removed due to the high troll ability level. A player could change their name to something inappropriate and then back to their name to ensure they do not get into trouble. Unless, the Staff Member goes into the logs. But this does make it harder on them. Not only this, but to those unfamiliar with the fact that there are nicknames can get scammed by someone who has the feature and changed the name, then changed it back. I did think of this Idea a while back but quickly decided it would never be added due to these reasons and many more."

Now, I've been asked to assess whether or not I believe /Nick will succeed or Fail. So Lets look at each side before we even try render a verdict.
Why It could Succeed:
1.) Price of It. $50 + $50 for Plus means not a-lot of users will be willing to get this feature and abuse it.
2.) The Fact of being able to choose a new name is indeed an interesting prospect, lots of people will enjoy this and with it also getting color changes in the Plug version.
3.) It doesn't break game play Features. (Like SG Kits)
4.) There's actually a Timer on this, this timer lends itself to users not being capable of Quick switching or abusing it easily.
5.) There's a Realname feature to find out who is who.
6.) They thought out a good and straight to the point set of rules for this feature before it was released.
7.) KHobbits is helping in its Coding which will mean that Updating it is possible so long as we have Khobbits around, meaning it can last through updates and wont just remain broken.
Why It could Fail:
1.) Users Abusing it. (Yes I said price will deter users from abusing~ this doesn't mean that there isn't a small population that wont still try).
2.) Having users under a different name is flat out annoying for PMing and Payment Purposes. (Trade and AUC).
3.) People Exploiting / Finding ways around rules and bits of this feature.
4.) AndrewKM. Having Colorful names in chat has always been suggested since the conception of the server and Andrew for the most part has been against it, with good reasons (Some of which I cannot mention here).
5.) The Cost, This is insanely Expensive.
6.) Character Limit (16 Characters Max) ~ This can get quite Annoying. "W o l v i e D 2 G M a r k" 13 Characters right there...
7.) The Fact too many Regular users will obtain this Rank and Things will get Confusing.
The Verdict.
Overall I "Hope" this feature Succeeds, But I would bet a pretty EcoDollar Against it succeeding.
While the Price and Rules are a deterrent for some users, I find its going to be the confusion that kills it and inevitably gets it removed.
Goodluck /Nick and /Nick+. I Hope you stay around."

"Personally, I find myself very conflicted when it comes to nicknames; I think they're really cool in concept, and am glad to see them bring in so much new donation money to the server in such a short time, but they're genuinely starting to annoy me. The new rules/restrictions on the nicks are necessary improvements, when they first came out the players constantly switching between different names was a nuisance, and I'm happy a cooldown was added. Despite this, I really despise when players name themselves something completely unrelated to their username, I realize this is kind of the point of the feature, but it can cause a lot of confusion. In addition, something that really does need to be fixed is the Vanish + Nickname glitch, making it so you can't /realname on the vanished player. That pretty much renders any tools normal players have to find out who you're actually talking to is useless, and I find this a major problem. But despite all the stuff that I really don't like about nicknames from a bystander's point of view, I can't help but wanting one, I'd probably just make mine "Falcon" with some fancy colors. But anyway, I'm rambling
, that's my opinion!"

I think this will succeed because the prhat youice is $50 so i don't think any trollers will be willing to spend that much money on that also I HATE the fact that you can't /realname a player when theyre vanished they really need to fix that glitchit's so annoying
